"How else would I take it?" Sundance snapped, glaring at the tom. "And aren't you suppost to be cleaning out the elders nests?" She lashed at an apprentice she she walked by. Jumping at the sound of Sundances voice, she nodded quickly. 'I.. I forgot. Sorry Sundance.' She heard the apprentice stammer and watched her quickly trot to the apprentice den. Sundance turned back to Midnightstorm. "And if I had been relaxing just then, the elders would be without fresh bedding!"

Midnightstorm flattened his ears and closed his eyes, letting out a grunt of annoyance. "Nevermind. Forget I even said anything." he mumbled, laying a white paw over his muzzle. His tail lashed back and forth, and he was fighting off a growl that was building in the depths of his throat. "I'll listen to you and do whatever you want me to, but that doesn't mean I have to like you." he snarled before snapping his jaw shut. He wasn't going to say anything more because, unfortunately, she had authority over him and could reduce him to apprentice chores for a moon.

Sundance narrowed her eyes, though wasn't suprised. Hardly any cats in Thunderclan liked her. She didn't care. "You're far from my favorite cat either!" She growled, standing up, tail lashing. "You just happend to be the only cat in this clearing to talk to! That's something I can fix!" She snarled bitterly as she turned and marched out of camp, fur bristling. It was always like this. Not good enough for Shadowclan. Too much of a Shadowclan cat for Thunderclan. So why was she so angrey about Midnightstorm saying he didn't like her? Padding further away from camp, Sundance didn't look back. Maybe Bearpaw had the right idea. Leave in the middle of the night to a life of solidtude. No, I could never do that. She thought, growling. It would just prove to them I don't belong here.
