Lillys fur was bristling as Dewflower kept calling her down.

Iggy flattened his ears, narrowing his eyes at the two cats that just spoke. 'Well, Lilly doesn't seem to be wanted in ThunderClan by the other she-cat... though the tom wants her to join.'[/i] he mused, flicking his tail slightly as he thought. He hopped down, landing silently on the ground near the fence. He padded slowly forward, glad that this was at least somewhat familiar territory.
"Um, my opinion probably doesn't matter, but I think that maybe the rest of ThunderClan has a right to decide who joins their Clan." he mewed hastily. He turned to the tom... whose name he still didn't know, and blinked at him with sightless eyes. "From the sounds of it, you don't have all that much authority in ThunderClan. Maybe you should listen to your mentor for once instead of being stubborn."

Lilly was taken aback by Lightiningpaw.She liked him,but she never actually thought he wouild defend her in this way
"oh...Well who are you to say anything like that anyways?You are a kittypet too,arent you?wouldnt you want to join a clan?
Oh,wait,Dewflower wouldnt allow anything like that anyways!!"
she hissed.

Iggy looked between the two cats, or at least where their voices were coming from, and tilted his head to the side. He orange narrowed his eyes at the tom's response. "I never said they wouldn't let her in the Clan. I said that the rest of the Clan, or at least the leader, should have a say in whether she joins or not. And I don't think Dewflower is saying you don't belong in ThunderClan." He flicked his tail tip lightly, looking between all three cats, wishing that he could actually see them.
He turned back to looking blankly at Lilly, before slowly shaking his head. "The first thing I said was that my opinion probably didn't matter, and no, I'm not a kittypet. More of a loner. And even if Dewflower would allow it, I wouldn't have a place in any Clan." he mewed, lifting his paw and running his tongue over it a few times before swiping it over his ear.

Iggy paused mid-lick, glancing up at her to give her a curious look. "I'm Iggy. I just don't really adjust to new territory well, that's all." he mewed calmly, shrugging before going back to cleaning his ears. He really wasn't in the mood to tell them he was blind, mainly because he didn't want to hear their reactions.

Dewflower stared at Iggy, kind of happy she said something.
"Lightningpaw, I have nothing against you. Halfclan still has 'Clan' in it. You were born in the forest, you have clan blood. You were raised clan. Kitty-pets aren't clan blood. Even if they're tough, they'll always have some softnes in them." She kept her eyes on Iggy because she didn't want to look anywhere else. Just imagining her apprentices expression right now made Dewflower want to attack Lily for making her apprentice want to leave. "It's up to Bramblestar anyways. He'll probably make you leave, Lily, sorry. It's just that us clan cats have had issues in the past. It's hard to make changes like this one. It kinda tells the other clans we're weak becasue we're taking in kitty-pets." Dewflower regreted using the term 'kitty-pet' again. But what else was she going to call the she-cat? She felt like forcing herself into an acting cry to get Lightningpaw to stay.
