Dewflower ran fast, clawing up clumps of dirt as she scented her apprentice. She hoped her nose was right!
Clawing to a hault, she looked around, franticly. After a few deep breaths, there was Lightningpaw. "I was looking everywhere for you!" She hissed, a bit ashamed of herself to let her loose sight of her apprentice. "What are you doing here, with this, this... Kittypet?!" She hissed even louder since she had more breath.

Lilly wasnt scared anymore,she actually was angry.She hated the thought of being a 'kittypet'

Dewflower staired in shock. 'Crap'? What did that mean? Was that some slang Lightningpaw picked up from a rouge? "You shouldn't meow to your mentor like that!" Dewflower spat, trying to keep her cool. ThunderClan had been deystroyed and weak in the past about being half-kittypet when Firestar was leader, many, many, seasons ago. Even though Dewflower met him, or any of the other kittypets, she knew that they must have been tough to stand it. But Dewflower didn't want that to heppen again! "That is BRAMBLESTAR'S decision to make Lightningpaw. If you even think about telling this kittypet she can join, you at least need to ask the clan leader first." 'And yes! I hissed 'KITTYPET!'' She added in her thoughts. Her fur prickled and anger grew around her pelt. Dewflower was a strickly loyal cat to her clan.

"NO! I AM NOT SAYING THAT!" Dewflower hissed. Then her voice dropped down to a sob. "Don't leave. No other clan will accept you. The same thing will happen to you that happened to Brighteyes's mother... And I'd miss you. We'd all miss you. And Bramblestar wouldn't let you leave! We need great apprentices like you." Dewflower bent her head over. She had just made a big mistake, trying to defend her clan. The clan she loved. She looked up and glared at the kittypet that caused this whole problem.

Iggy sat on the fence post not very far from where this conversation was taking place, his head cocked to the right and ears perked to catch every word. 'Oh, if only I could see this!'[/i] he though half eagerly, half bitterly. His whiskers twitched in amusement as he looked down at where all of the noise was coming from, his orange tail curled nearly over his white paws. 'ThunderClan? Warriors? Apprentice? Leader I understand, kinda. But what's all this with these three cats argueing!? And what's with calling the one she-cat a kittypet!?'[/i] he wondered, parting his jaws slightly to scent the air. Two of the cats smelled the same, like leaves and trees, while the other smelled like hay and milk. It wasn't hard to figure out which of the two were ThunderClan cats.
