Lightningpaw padded out of the apprentices den. He was ready to start training with Dewflower again. After her dissaperence, he worried. But now he knew she was back. "Dewflower, I'm ready for more training"! mewed Lightningpaw, who was full of hope.

Dewflower pranced on over to Lightningpaw, hearing that he was ready for his training to continue.
"ROWE!" She playfully growled, jumping at her apprentice with sleathed claws. Today the ThunderCan warrior was entergetic, like usual, and she couldn't wait to get out into the clearing.
"Last time we did some hunting, so this time, are you ready for the FIGHT?!" She asked, making it sound like the best thing to learn.

Lightningpaw jumped in the air, and landed on Dewflower. "ROWR! YES I AM"! He jumped off of her, and eagerly waited. His fur ruffled in the wind, and his excitment was coming off in heat waves.

Dewflower leaped into a run out the Clan camp, looking at her apprentice behind her. "Follow me!" She panted, excitment rushing through her blood as she weaved through trees to get to the sun-lit clearing. She could already feel the lush green grass beneath her paws.

Lightningpaw hurried after Dewflower, eager to pratice battle training. His fur fluffed out in excitement as he followed Dewflower. "So what are we gonna do first"? asked Lightningpaw.

Dewflower slowed her pace as her paws brushed though the soft grass, then finally came to a complete stop in the open. 'The Clearing!' She thought with excitement. It's been awhile since the last time she was herewith an apprentice, and she absolutely loved it here.
"First I'll just see what you already know- How you fought your play-fights as a kit." Dewflower teased, sitting across from where her apprentice was padding in the grassy clearing.

(Sorry if my replies are kinda short, being in 7th grade, with a lot of work tires me out to the bone, and I have 10 websites I'm a member on.....)
Lightningpaw smiled at the mention of his kithood. He grinned bigger and bigger until he fell over laughing. "MROW MROW MROW!!! It was halirous! I used to boss my sister around, and....."
He stopped and snuck up to Dewflower, and put a paw on her shoulder. Then he gently shoved her away with the other paw. "That's what I did with my sister"!

"Nice trick you have there!" Dewflower laughed with a mrrow.
"Well now that I know you have a pretty good idea of what you're going for here, attack me." She instructed, backing up from her apprentice, making sure the space behind her was open and grassy.

Lightningpaw looked at Dewflower. He was to attack her? Well he wouldn't use his claws and teeth of course, but still. He slowly stalked to Dewflower, and started to show his moves.
Lightningpaw first tried to slam his paw on Dewflowers paw so she felt sort of dizzy. Then he kept his claws shelthed and swiped over Dewflowers ear, and then used all the distractions to try to jump on her.

Dewflower ducked her head to avoid the blow, then swiftly sent herself under Lightningpaw's jump, rolling on her back so her underbelly was vunerable, but her claws were protecting. She thrust forward her paws to grab ahold of her apprentice's vunrable belly...  |
