Bramblestar decided this morning that he would go by the skyoak. This historic landmark in this forest always fascenated him, at its hiegth and beauty. He stopped infront of its big winding roots, and sat down. "Starclan, has been so good to me." he said.

Claws unsleathed, legs outstreached, Spottedheart ran down the ravine. She whizzed by her Leader, then started circling Sky Oak. Skidding to a halt, dirt covered her paws as they sank into the turned earth. "Hey Firestar! Beutiful morning isn't it!" The she-cat ploped down beside her leader and sharted to purrr. "I always love a long run after a good night's rest in my den!"

Firestar looked at her. "I swear Spottedheart, if you werent a medicine cat.......Im surprised other clans dont take you for a full warrior with that kind of speed!"Brambleclaw said. Spottedheart was their medicine cat, and just nearly gave him a heart atttack. He thought something was wrong, he hoped he covered up his surprise. He didnt want to come off as jumpy.

Spottedheart looked into her leader's eyes. "Sorry if I starttled you." She pured her appology. She stretched to her paws, her fur stood up and she sniffed the air. "Is that fresh burrdock I smell?" She padded in circles, then headed towrd the lake. Stopping, she dug a litle hole in the ground, then sniffed. "Succsess!" She growled, kicking dirt up into the air. Spottedheart grabed the loose root in her jaws, then tugged. As it flipped out of the ground, she stummbled over, then getting to her paws and dodging a few trees in her path. She droped her herb, and sat back down by her leader. "What a morning." She seemed to repeat herself. "Today's going to feel grreeat! What do you think?"

Bramblestar watched her as she tumbled with the burdock, and said nothing. He was a little worried. "Has anything new ahppened? Like, with starclan? Im just feeling worried."Bramblestar admited. He was thankful he could trust his medicine cat.

The sky was clear, eccept four lonely clouds. Spottedheart lied down in the soft grass, then staired ahead of her. "Nothing too bad. The only thing I saw if it would mean anything... There were these four feather's in my den, Dewflower gave them to me because she was joking around about RiverClan... and the wind just blew them away..." She stopped meowing as the four clouds were swept away. "That was out of StarClan." She meowed, ciriousity surged through her body and she got to her paws. "Did you see that, it happened to those clouds..."

Bramblestar had been looking up at the skyoak, and then when Spottedheart mentioned the clouds, he snapped his head back at her. He looked at her. He had felt uneasy alot, and the mention of something unusual, caught his attention. He ammediatly said "What? What clouds?"And he looked up and then back at Spottedheart.

Midnightstorm padded closer to the Sky Oak, his claws unsheathed. He heaved a quiet sigh, his dark amber eyes searching for any sign of hiding prey. His ears perked when he heard voices and he made them out to be... 'Spottedheart and Bramblestar?' he wondered, stalking closer. He peeked through the bushes to make sure he was right, and the distinct dappled pelt- almost, if not more, unique than his sister Servalspot's- of Spottedheart and the dark tabby pelt of Bramblestar told him his assumption had been correct.
He pushed through the bushes and padded over to the two cats, clearing his throat quietly as he did. "'Morning Bramblestar, Spottedheart!" he purred, dipping his head slightly. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, cocking his head slightly in curiousity.

Bramblestar stiffened when he heard Midnightstorm's voice. Had he heard about the clouds? Was there a reason he came at this certain time? Was starclan sending a message? What had Spottedheart just seen? all these thoughts raced through his mind, faster than a windclan cat. He stood still, and he felt his heartbeat go faster. Wht in starclans name was he so anxious?
"Morning.....Midnightstorm"Bramblestar said, not looking at him. "When did you get here?"he asked curiously.

Midnightstorm took notice of Bramblestar stiffening and also the fact that he was avoiding looking at him. He thought about what it could mean for a second, but then shook his head to answer Bramblestars' question. "Just now." he answered, padding past his leader and medicine cat and hopping on one of the roots of the Sky Oak. He lept up a couple of branches and laid down on a wide, low hanging branch, his tail dangling over the side as he peered down at Bramblestar. "I decided to go hunting and came towards the lake. Why?" he asked, crossing his front paws and resting his head on them.
