Spottedheart poked her head outside of the ferns hanging by her den.
She smelled WindClan scent, and she wondered what was going on. Her pupils widened, and her heart skipped when she saw the firmiliar face of her former apprentice, Brighteyes. "Brighteyes! Thank StarClan! I w-was begining to wonder... I thought you were here! I need your help with the herbs... We'll need a lot of.. help." She seemed to mew in a hurry. "Come in!" She meowed, turning into the medicine cat den, waving her tail.

Brighteyes smiled and walked into the den, she had so much to tell spotted, " Same scent as I remembered my mentor, oh Spotted, i Have my own apprentice now! and how is calicopaw?! Is she hurt from the badger?!"

"I'm not sure how Calicopaw is... I haven't seen her yet." Spottedheart meowed solemly. Then her heart skipped. She wondered how her former apprentice would react when she'd tell her that she got a new one too. Saddness flew threw her body. She didn't want Brighteyes to feel forgotten or hurt. "Brighteyes..." She begun. "I have a new apprentice too. Meet Willowpaw!" She meowed, directing her tail to the younger she-cat in the den.

Willowpaw woke up at the sound on her name. She looked up and noticed the smell of WindClan and bolted up and raised to her mentor. "Spottedheart! I smell WindClan!" all the fur along her spine was raced. "Are they invading the clan?!?!?!" she said not noticing the visitor.

Spottedheart shook her head, her yellow-green eyes shone. "No, no! Of course not! Especially with these badgers running around our territory!" She took her gaze back to Brighteyes, kind of directing her apprentice. "This is my former apprentice, Brighteyes!" She meowed happily.

Brighteyes smiled at willowpaw, "you odnt have to worry Willowpaw, I grew up in thunderclan, why would Iwant to invade the clan who raised me?"
