A Loner's Life

He blinked as a random cat trotted by. "Erm... Thanks for your input...?" He turned back to Roadkill, suddenly taking in how mangled he looked.. He knows... he just doesn't care. he narrowed his eyes, trying to figure out who this cat thought he was. Definitly Mental.

[Spottedheart]

Roadkill dug through his thoughts. "What do you mean mental?!" he hissed. "I just forget things easily! And why should you care about what I love? Cat's have opinions!" He didn't know the term "short term memory loss", so he failed using it. Umm... What's your name again? Is it... Lapster?"

Jasper flicked his ears toward the random queen, a puzzled expression still on his face, turning into a mixture between annoyance and anger. His greenish gold eyes narrowed and his lips involuntarily stretched back, tight against his pointed teeth. He snorted. “And some cats like you apparently have death wishes!”[/color] He forced his fur to flatten out and he tilted his head. “Sure, sure.”[/color] He replied to the cat. A side of his mouth turned up into a mocking grin as he sat and groomed his bristling fur, his claws still dug into the ground.

Roadkill liked this Loners attitude. He streached his stiff limbs, reaching is front paws as far as they could go, then you could hear a "crack!" He then got to his paws, and arched his back, tucking his paws tight together. His back cracked too, along with his neack. "Ahhh." he sighed. "I used to streach out on road like this every evenng in the sun!" He sat back down, his one ear was floppy, covering his eye. He staired at the brave loner, trying to find out what he was doing. Then, another thought hit his head, like an elder falling off a cliff, and landing hard on a stoney surface, limp. "Where do you live?" He asked. Roadkill didn't live anywhere, so he planned to gather as much information about good spots to live as possible, well, untill he forgets.

He opened his mouth to respond about this cat's beloved "road", only to close it again and drop the subject. He shrugged, mostly to himself, though it was an honest answer to the question as well. How this cat had survived this long was a mystery. Too many whacks to the head if oyu ask me. he smirked. "I try to stay around Horseplace, but sometimes i go into WindClan or into the river by RiverClan." he shrugged. "You?"

Roadkill drew up his hind paw, claws unsleathed, and he scratched behind his ear. "I roam freely. I don't know if I have a home. If I do... Then I don't remember where." He admitted. He put his leg down, and he staired at the ground, a bit confused. He sleathed, and unsleathed his claws into the earth, dirt was getting stuck in his claws, and he had a craving that he should attack something nearby. He held his lead high in the air, and let all scents come in. Nothing. "Say Lapsmer, do you have fighting skills?" Roadkill asked with ciriousity.

Jasper smiled at the tom's confusion. This might be funny. "Well if you forgot it, then it wasn't important anyways then." He watched Roadkill with curiousity, noting carefully that he flexed his claws. Absentmindedly, Jasper did the same, the mud giving way under his claws. Soon there were holes pricked in the dirt. "Yes, why?" he asked, looking at Roadkill out of the corners of his eyes. he suppresed a laugh. If this cat could barely remember his own name, than how could he remember to fight? Jasper figured he would win out as a smile creeped across his face, turning into a toothy grin.

Also, how are we supposed to reply to that?! should I say "Jasper glanced at the random cat and returned his attention to Roadkill."? you have to at least say something!

also, remember what Middy told you in "Hawktooth LOL"? I'm not trying to be mean or obnoxious or anything, but read your post and please tell me how you would respond to that, using five sentences at the very least.
