Wolfspirit smiled at his apprentice's honesty. "Well thats fine Sapphirepaw. Were just gonna have to work on that then." he meowed as he slowly started to walk towards his apprentice, quickly picking up his pace and charging around him.
"Never get distracted during a battle, no matter who your opponent is." he said, teaching a lesson in the code of fighting. Wolfspirit cahrged forwards as he tackled Sapphirepaw's rear paws, trying to take them out from under him so he'd loose his balance and become vonurable.
With a quick jump back Wolfspirit was ready for another attack, but he awaited what Sapphirepaw would do next. |

Sapphirepaw smiled back a little bit"Fine, will do. I just want to become the best warrior I can be." He shuffled his paws, waiting for Wolfsprits next move.
Sapphirepaw nobbed at what Wolfspirt had just told him. "Yea, yea, being distracted can cause bad injuries or death."
Sapphirepaw slipped undernethe Wolfspirts belly. Then he put down his front paws on Wolfspirts front paws, and his back paws on Wolfspirts back paws. The Sapphirepaw heaved himself up, letting go of Wolfspirt. If the attack worked, Wolfspirt would go go flying.

Wolfspirit nodded at Sapphirepaw and then within that same second he had managed to get beneath him. "Wha-" he mumbled shortly before he falt Sapphirepaw pushing himself off the ground. A smile grew on Wolfspirit's face as he was flung through the air, he hadnt gotten high enough off of the ground to land on his paws again but he was very pleased at his apprentice's moves. The other cats around the clan really werent lying, he was an amazing fighter.
Wolfspirit landed clumbsly on the ground, rolling onto his side then quickly getting up to go in for another attack.
Wolfspirit ran around Sapphirepaw three times then quickly turned on his heel and pounced for Sapphirepaw's hind legs. If he could knock him off of his back feet for just a moment, he would be able to get under him then use his weight to push Sapphirepaw up into the air. |

Slowly turning around, Sappirepaw saw that Wolfspirt pounced on his hind legs. He backed up into Wolfspirt to dislodge him, and to confuse him. Then Sapphirepaw wiped around his front paw and and wacked Wolfspirt in the face.

Wolfspirit growled annoyedly at himself since his battle move failed him. All he could do now was stumble backwards. Wolfspirit hopped back slightly and took the hit from Sapphirepaw, it was a strong hit, enough to send a smaller cat completely off balance.
Wolfspirit shook off the hit then lunged forewards again, this time planting himself ontop of Sapphirepaw, using his weight as an advantage. at this point, if he was actually fighting an enemy he could bite down on the neck and cause major damage, but he could never do taht to a clan mamber.
OCC: so, im kinda running low on muse for this thread so do you want to end this one and start a new one? |
