Wolfspirit padded up to Sapphirepaw and smiled at him. "Hey Sapphirepaw." He needed to get more training in with his apprentice so he decided to get out early and train with him all day. "Ready to train?" he asked him wondering if they should hunt first then practice some battle moves. Sapphirepaw seemed pretty strong as it was so he figured that he'd have no problem with more fighting moves to learn so that made his decision, they'd go hunting.

(  I FORGET I RPED SAPPHIREPAW FOR A MOMENT, SORRY ) Sapphirepaw grumbled and stomped out here. "I'm here, I'm here, don't worry about a thing! So what we gonna do first"? Sapphirepaw growled. He was already in a bad mood for getting into trouble, now he might have to collect moss for the elders bedding! He waited for an answer. "And please try to be quick about it"! Sapphirepaw hissed. (He can be kinda a trouble maker, not the on porpose kind, but the bad-mood kind) |

Wolfspirit looked down at his apprentice. "What did you eat that made you so grumpy?" he asked twitching his tail slightly before rolling his bright blue eyes at the young tom. "Well, lets go vent that anger with some battle training. Sound good?" he asked as he tried to look Saphirepaw in the eyes but failed.
Without waiting for an answer he started walking out of ShadowClan camp and out towards the grounds where they would train. "Well, even if it didnt sound good you have no choice." he teased as he looked over his shoulder at Saphirepaw.
Wolfspirit wished that he and his apprentice would eventually become good friends and trusting clanmates to eachother, but the way things were going Wolfspirit doubted that it would happen as quickly as he had hoped. |

Sapphirepaw obbyed, and reculently followed Wolfspirt. He mumbled to himself words of wisdom, or what he thought was wise, and continued with Wolfspirt. "If you must know I can be impaient, but I'm still loyal no matter what'll happen to al ya fellows". he mewed.
His eyes grew round. Battle-traing, he loved to fight! All of a sudden, Sapphirepaw chased his tail in a mad circle and jumped around.

Wolfspirit smiled at the young apprentice, who now seemed like he was in a pretty good mood. The beige tom watched as Sapphirepaw chased his tail around in an excited circle, well, it looked like he had made the better choice in waht to train him in today. It looked like battle training was the best choice.
Wolfspirit laughed slightly as he flicked his apprentice on the ear with his tail, "Yes, i know that you are loyal Sapphirepaw. And with that energy I bet you could be one of our strongest cats in the clan!" he purred, hoping to give him a burst of happiness. |

Sapphirepaws eyes grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger, until they couldn't grow round anymore. He was so happy know, that he kept yowling and jumping around. "Are you serious Wolfspirit"? he asked his mentor.

Wolfspirit smiled at his apprentice as his eyes grew rounder and rounder by the second untill they looked like marbles. "Would I lie to you Sapphirepaw?" he asked with a happy-questioning tone in his voice. "Of course Im serious, but you'll have to work very hard to get that position...and you'll have to be able to take me down." he said with a smile as he raised his tail up and flicked Sapphirepaw's ear, taunting him.
The two cats had reached the training grounds where they would practice their fightining techniques and this would be the first challenge that Wolfspirit would give to Sapphirepaw. "Okay. Your first challenge is to show me what moves you allready know and get me to the ground." he said as he dashed across the clearing, taking place a couple fox-lengths away from his apprentice. "I wont go easy on you, so dont expect this to be easy." he said with a mischievous smile. |

Sapphirepaw stared at Wolfspirt. There he was, just a cat of Shadowclan. Of course Wolfspirt was twice his size, so he couldn't just leap on him. Sapphirepaw would have to try harder moves. Sapphirepaw flattened his ears, and leapt towards Wolfspirts back.
Sapphirepaw leapt behind Wolfspirt so he could preform his one move he made up. He stretched out his long legs, and trapped Wolfspirts paws under his paws. Then he propelled himself forward, knocking into Wolfspirt so he would be dizzy and slide away. Sapphirepaw jumped back just in time to examine what Wolfspirt would do next.

With a quick movement Wolfspirits apprentice quickly showed off his skill. 'Wow...' he thought quickly as he felt Sapphirepaw's feet pin his down, before Wolfspirit knew it he was tipping forewards. A smile grew on his face as he realized that he actually had himself a match. With swift reflexes Wolfspirit pushed out his front feet and shoved them onto the ground, pushing up once again with a slight jump to get himself to twist around to face Sapphirepaw again.
"Nice moves" he complimented. "Did you make that one up yourslef?" he asked happily, proud to see that his apprentice was allready skilled. OCC: eww, sorry about the short post, i have no muse right now  |

Sapphirepaw nobbbed eagerly. "Yep, fighting is my best suit if you know what I mean." He smiled a big grin and then frowned. "But I'm not that skilled at hunting. Compared to other apprentices, my hunting is just okay."
