Garnetpaw padded out of the apprentices' den, blinking here dark amber eyes. 'Why's there always gotta be a patch of light outside the apprentices' den?' she wondered miserably, padding out of the sunlight that made her feel like she stood out. At least in the shadows she blended in with everything else, and that was the way she liked it. She looked around, her eyes not having to adjust to the darkness that she grew up in. 'Now where'd my mentor go?' she wondered, stalking over to curl up in one of the many shadows, resting her head on her paws.

Garnetpaw adjusted her gaze from where it had been travelling between the warriors' den and the camp entrance to look up at Hawktooth, narrowing her eyes slightly. "Um, not you?" she mewed, almost laughing. "You were at the apprenticing cerimony. Darkwind's my mentor." she purred, shifting her gaze back to looking for the black warrior.
((Technically, you shouldn't be RPing with Hawktooth yet... He hasn't been accepted.))

Garnetpaw gave a small squeak of surprise, scrambling to her paws and darting away from Hawktooth, her ears flattened slightly. "I figured Mama woulda told everyone in the Clan by now; I don't like anyone else grooming me. It annoys me." she mewed quickly, explaining her reaction. She sat down, licking her chestfur nervously while her tail tip twitched. 'Nice goin' Garnetpaw! Way to embarrass yourself.' she thought bitterly.

(Well Bramblestaraaccepted it my charicter). Hawktooth was token back. He hissed "Go hunt the clan needs prey". He liked apprentices but he didnt now how to make friends very good

"Uh... doesn't the Clan need more warriors too? I kinda can't be made a warrior unless I get trained, and I can't do that if I don't see my mentor." Garnetpaw meowed, choosing her words carefully. She was treading on thin ice, so she had to be able not to fall. She shifted her weight from one paw to another uneasily, not sure what Hawktooth's reaction was going to be. She looked up quickly to see if she could read the reaction on his face, but she couldn't figure out what it was.
