Chaos came closer to the Gathering, now within easy speaking range of the rest of their little group. He spoke to Spottedheart, "You haven't told him? No, it's deeper than that... Ah. Your ancient memories have yet to reawaken." Swiftclaw stepped backwards till he was beside Spotted. "What in the name of the Forest and Starclan are you TALKING ABOUT?"

Spottedheart's pupils grew large and spine grew colder when the fox approached her. "Ancient... Memories?" She whispered in question to herself. Swiftclaw seemed to be just as confused as her.

"Blast it, tell me what's going on!" Swiftclaw's eyes shone silver, his fur growing silver highlights. He charged the fox, who had taken a defensive stance.

Spottedheart gave a nervous glance at the fight that was about to happen. She looked up into the clear sky, a little shocked. 'StarClan is not mad...?' She asked herself, wondering why they permitted this attack in the this of peace. No clouds were in sight, anywhere. The Medicine Cat understood why Swiftclaw charged the fox, she was actually pretty anxious to get information out of him herself. Her eyes read determination to go charge the fox as well, but she remained still.

The fox met his charge by spinning and slapping the cat with his heavy brush tail. Swiftclaw retaliated by biting down and swinging around with the rest of his body, back legs kicking out and catching the fox across the face. The fox bit into one leg, drawing not blood but a silvery light. The cat broke free with a single foreclaw swipe at the fox's face, then drew back. "Where did those techniques come from? You're obviously familiar with them," Swiftclaw demanded, his voice reverberating as though another had joined his. "Like I said, master of the Fox Style. I was one of your teachers, but you quickly surpassed me with your quick learning." "And the silver?" "You never explained that, and rarely used it." "I can explain that." A ghostly shimmering form appeared, continuing, "You are, to make a long story short, a Descended Star."

Brighteyes stood by her father and sister, hoping her aunt would join them for some sharing tongues. "Father, I was scared when I was walking thru the forest by the lake at night I swear i scented a fox and badger in the forest before I arrived at the island. Did I get you in trouble with your leader?"

"What? What are you talking about, who are you, and why does my head hurt so freakin much?" Swiftclaw yowled, head spinning from all the information. The ghostly figure spoke again. "A Descended Star is a very powerful warrior who died in the service of the greater good. They're returned to the Forest to serve Fate, always in a darker time than the one they died in. Usually, the time between is very great, but things went from bad to worse really quick. As to your second question... I'm your brother. Steelclaw."

((Steelclaw's back! ;D ))
Spottedheart stood in shock. She could hardly believe what she was seeing, not even glancing around to see if anyone else noticed. Did Swiftclaw have some sort of past that she didn't know about? That he didn't know about?
"No, I didn't get in trouble. I'm thankful my daughter is a Medicine Cat." Calicoclaw replied to Brighteyes with a smile. "What about you? Did your Leader scent ShadowClan on your pelt?..." He paused to look around. "...Where... Is Blackstar, anyways?" He asked, noticing that WindClan's Leader was the only one missing now. Then he noticed something else before Brighteyes could answer. "Spottedheart, what are you gawking at?" He asked the she-cat who was currently a few fox-tail lengths away, staring at nothing in particular that he could see. Must be some Medicine Cat thing. "Come back and talk; surely your sister would want you to." He added, wishing his beloved could come back into the skies again so he could see her, like she did a few minutes ago. He hasn't seen her since her death, for he was just a regular warrior. "Bright, your lucky you're able to still have connections with your mother..." Calicoclaw murmured, wrapping his tail around his daughter.

"All right. You want it all at one time. Fine." Steelclaw stepped forward and scratched a few symbols into the earth - a c e 2 7 6 6. As soon as Swiftclaw saw the last symbol, he lost consciousness. Chaos found his voice as Swiftclaw slumped to the floor. "Well that sucks."

Brighteyes purred loudly as her father cradled his tail around her. She didnt see this ShadowClan warrior as a threat, but as her very own kin, her own father and since she was a medicine cat, she could cross borders without problems with the other Clan cats. "I know that Blueeyes will always be part of you father, in your heart, and Calicopaw also sometimes sees mother too. I didnt go back to the camp after you pushed me into the stream, I had to come straight to the Island, so I dont know if Blackstar was cross with me or not, I am hoping he wasnt, because I didnt break the warrior code by meeting with you, if I was helping Spottedheart with your clans newest queen, did I?" Brighteyes wasnt sure if she wanted to get this answered or not.
