Ravenwhisker was grateful too, trying to hide his embarrassment for being the subject of the topic.
"Alright, so shall we head out everyone?" Ravenwhisker asked, suddenly feeling stronger now that he had an apprentice and was the leader of the patrol.

Rainface emerged from her nest in the Warrior's Den. "Did I hear the words 'hunting patrol'?" she meowed, racing over to the other cats who were about to leave. "I'm starving!" she yowled, screeching to a halt at the group of cats near the entrance, and pausing to lick her lips, imagining the smell and taste of fresh-kill flooding her senses.

Ravenwhisker jumped back at Rainface's sudden entrance. He could tell that she was full of energy.
"Let's see... Hawkstar, Flamepaw... Is Trailblazer still here?" Ravenwhisker looked around at the cats that were amongst him.
"Sure, you can join the patrol if you'd like!" He happily meowed.

Rainface's ears perked up and the young she-cat purred as she sat next to Ravenwhisker, waiting for the patrol to get going.
"I hope we can start soon," she added, half to herself. "Newleaf better hurry up, I'm starving!" the young warrior let out a mrrow of happiness as the thought of newleaf entered her mind. Hopefully, Rainface thought to herself, When newleaf finally gets here I'll be able to swim in the stream again!
