Sunpaw sped behind Lightiningpaw as she tore through the brambles that lead the entrance to ThunderClan camp. "Move furball!" she mewed as she crashed into his backside, unable to slow her speed fast enough to stop before tumbling into Lightiningpaw. Sunpaw laughed as she rolled onto her side, looking around the clearing, making sure no one had been watching her clumbsy entrance.
"Sorry Lightiningpaw!" she said laughing still. "Your just too big a target to miss!" she purred teasingly, knowing that he knew she was just kidding with him. Sunpaw stood up and padded over to him, looking him in the eyes untill he'd say something. |

He thought he heard a noise in the bushes. "Wh...what was that"? he stammered, hoping Sunpaw wouldn't be mad at him. He waited paintly for an answer. |

Sunpaw laughed happily with Lightiningpaw. He had a great sence of humour and he was so easy going, that was what made the young tom a great friend.
Sunpaw flickered her emrald eyes over to the bushes where Lightiningpaw had turned his attention to and then perked up her ears. "I dont know what that was." she said slowly, senting the air to try and find out who or what it was that made the sound.
"Lets go see..." she mewed curiously as she crouched down beside Lightiningpaw and slowly stalked towards the bushes. Despriately hoping that whatever the two apprentices were getting themselves into, they'd be able to get themselves out. |

Lightningpaw peered into the bushes. There was a mouse! "I'm going to catch that mouse for us"! he yowled. He leapt at the mouse, but the mouse scurried away. Lightningpaw landed with embaresment. "Sunpaw, that was my bad'! he mewed.

Sunpaw laughed as the mouse quickly scurried away from Lightiningpaw's hold. "You'll never catch anything like that!" she laughed playfully as she pounced over to her friend.
Sunpaw's emrald eyes shimmered like bright spere's under the moonlight and her pelt looked like a fire burning beneath the sun.
She brushed her tail down his flank and smiled as she touched her nose to his quickly, " It was your bad!" she purred as she laughed and bounded out infront of him.
She raised her hind up and swung her tail back and forth in a playful rythem, waiting for Lightiningpaw to do something. Sunpaw was in a hyper mood where she wanted to wrestle but was also up for anything else that Lightiningpaw suggested. |

Lightningpaw purred back at Sunpaw, he felt so comfertable with her. She was so funny, so kind, so understanding, so..... A thought came to Lightningpaw. "Is this love thats messing with my head, is that the feeling in my heart"? he thought for a second. He dissmissed the thought immeditly and mewed "I'll bet Brackenmask is wondering where you are"!

Sunpaw looked at Lightiningpaw with a questioning face. He seemed to be deep in thought...but why? All she did was want to play.
Sunpaw nodded slowly and stood up. "I guess he probably is..." she mewed, still somewhat confused. "Well, I guess I should head back to see him then...but then what will you do?" she asked as she walked over to stand beside him.
Sunpaw's emrald eyes glistened as she looked into Lightininpaw's eyes, why had he suddenly seemed concerned about what her mentor was wondering. Her firey pelt was now dusty from lying on the sandy ground but either way, it was still beatiful. |

"I should go to Dewflower to get started on my training, I don't want to miss that"! Lightningpaw mewed slowly. He pressed his muzzle to Sunpaws cheek, he felt warmed by her soft fur "I'll see you later, got to go catch Dewflower"! he mewed excitdely.
Brackenmask sniffed around the place. His eyes grew huge, he smelled Sunpaw. What was she doing here? His went forward to greet Sunpaw. "Greettings Sunpaw, it is a pleasure to see you! I would like to take you on a patrol, I was also going to ask Dewflower and Lightningpaw to come. What'cha think"?

Sunpaw smiled at Lightininpaw warmly as she pressed her muzzle up against his, returning the good-bye. "Okay, see ya Lightiningpaw!" she mewed happily after him.
Sunpaw turned around to see Brakenmask standing before her. "Brackenmask!" she purred happily. The ginger she-cat ran up to her mentor and pressed her nose into his shoulder in a loving greeting. She hadnt seen him in what felt like forever and being with Lightiningpaw always left her in a good mood.
As soon as Sunpaw had heard that she could go on a patrol with Lightiningpaw as well as Dewflower her emrald eyes shimmered even more as she grew more and more excilerated. "That would be great Brakenmask!" she mewed like an excited kit. |
