Lightningfang cursed under her breath. "Um, are you in any shape to climb a tree? We're based up-" she pointed up to a nearby old spreading oak, "-there."

"Well sure I'll take a try at it." Roadkill muttered.
He looked at the old oak and clawed his way up to the first branch and grabbed ahold of it tightly. He dragged his back limbs up the side of the rough bark and tuffs of fur ripped off his coat that was already ripped up. He weakly hauled himself up, then looked around for the next branch, he tried hard not to show he was weak. He continued climbing like this until he got to a comfortable flat branch with old moss growing near the trunk. "Oh I'm fine here, thanks!" He called down, and then sighed to himself, "Howin devils name am I gettin down in the morning?!"

Lightningfang leaped up beside him, barely even catching her claws in the trunk to get up. She leaped higher and got a sparrow, then brought it down to the branch Roadkill lay on. She tore a bite out, then asked with a muffled voice, "Ya want some?"

Roadkill licked his lips, "Sure but I recon you take yer share first because I dunno how much yer willing to give." The old tom rasped, a grin swiping across his ancient-furred face. He was hungry, and too tired to even care about looking tough. He just wanted some fresh-kill and a night of sleep.

A lonor, Kodiak came here and swifty tossed his dark brown fur around. He sniffed around for some sun since he loooooved to sunbathe but couldn't find any. Finally he grumbled Oh great, where is all then sun? I came here to sunbathe, not to talk to a bunch of lo....." He spotted some sun on top of Lightningfang. Kodiak walked over here and sat down on top of her. "If you don't mind I'll take a seat here."
