Wildpaw stood up and shook her pelt once again.
"Um...would that have been a good move if i measured it right?Cause you could get a good swipe at the enimies underbelly!"she purred

"Excatlly"! mewed Hawkstar. SHe streached her legs.

Wildpaw purred happily and then asked "Can I try some defensive moves now?"

"Yes absouluty". Hawkstar mewed. She got up and streetched out her legs. "Defend yourself as I try to attack you"! Claws sleathed, Hawkstar leaped at Wildpaw, turning sidways so she would smack Wildpaw.

Wildpaw watched Hawkstar's moves carefully and at the last minute she leapped backwards, away from her swinging paw. She smiled a little and lowered her body slightly so she was ready to dodge again. Her trick was to wait untill the last second then dodge, and if possible counter attack. She learnt that in the nursery when she played with the other kits. The only problem with that was that she had to be very quick and watch very closley.

Hawkstar got herself to land carefully. "That was an easy move, lets see how you deal with this one"! She spun around in the air and landed in front of Wildpaw to confuse her. Hawkstar raised a paw and smacked Wildpaw. Then she would bump her with her head as Wildpaw was confused!

Wildpaw's eyes went big as Hawkstar suddenly appeared infront of her. She didnt expect that but she wouldnt let it distract her and make her loose her focus. She got hit by Hawkstar's paw and after it hit her she dropped onto her belly and rolled to the right, away from Hawkstar then she stood and leapped away. She smiled and winked. "Ha! you'll have to do better if you want to be quick enough for me!" she purred confidently.

"Excellent, Wildpaw"! purred Hawkstar. She smiled at the apprentices hard work and determanation. "I'm sort of worn out right now, so let's take a break and relax". Hawkstar streached her legs and layed down. "Let me know if any cat is in need of mediecne". She fell asleep

Wildpaw stood straight up and rolled her eyes. "C'mon! Hawkstar!...Hawkstar?" she mewed as she walked over to her mentor and stared down at her. Her breath slowed to an even rate which ment that she was sleeping. "Aww man." she growled "Mouse-dung." She walked over to the entrance to the med cat den and yawned. She was tired a little but she was having too much fun to want to take a break. She sat by the entrance and tucked her tail around her paws. She looked out on the camp and watched as some of the kits played with a sparrow's feather and batted it around. Her tail twitched slightly as she looked over her shoulder to see Hawkstar resting peacefully on the ground.

In Hawkstars dream, there were hungrey foxes, 3 familys running in Riverclan terrotary when they jumped on her. She tried to strggle free, but it was no use. The foxes were sinking there teeth into Hawkstars neck. "NO"! Hawkstar yowled.
